Chaperones

We are committed to provide a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times. Every patient is entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure. A chaperone will always be a member of our practice team.

For more intimate examinations your GP will offer for you to have a chaperone present. Your GP may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with practice policy. If at anytime you would feel more comfortable for a chaperone to be present at a consultation, please inform the receptionist.
